Earlier in the career, Waqaas worked at Citi in investment banking specializing in consumer M&A from 2016 to 2019 and contributed to a consumer sector roll-up strategy at Jarden Corporation from 2014 to 2016, which culminated in a $20 billion exit to Newell Rubbermaid. Waqaas holds a degree from NYU Stern School of Business and graduated from Stuyvesant High School.
