Alberto Rottigni

Alberto Rottigni is a Junior Product Manager at Eneco since July 2023, focusing on the development of a Virtual Power Plant (VPP) platform for NL balancing markets. Responsibilities include designing new functionalities and monitoring the performance of VPP utility scale assets. Prior experience includes a role as a Solution Engineer at Siemens, where design and development of digital twins for energy systems were emphasized, particularly in digital industries, smart buildings, and EV charging stations. Alberto also gained valuable experience as an MSc Thesis Project Intern at Emergya Wind Technologies B.V., exploring hybrid renewable energy systems and conducting techno-economic assessments. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Sustainable Energy Technology from Delft University of Technology and a BS in Energy Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
