Willem de Goede

Willem de Goede is a seasoned professional in renewable energy and business development, currently serving as a Senior Business Developer for Offshore Wind and Senior Asset Developer for Hydrogen at Eneco since October 2023, focusing on green hydrogen projects in North-West Europe. Previously, Willem held various positions at Shell from February 2016 to September 2023, including H2 Industry Business Development Manager, where clean hydrogen opportunities were originated, and Head of Solar & Onshore Wind Business Development NL, overseeing a multidisciplinary team to deliver renewable power projects. Early career experiences include roles at VNO-NCW en MKB-Nederland, the European Parliament, and various internships where expertise was developed in energy policy, advocacy, and international trade relations. Willem holds an MSc in European Political Economy from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA in International Relations from the University of Groningen.
