Antonio Cammarota has a diverse work experience in the energy distribution industry. Antonio started their career in 2003 at Enel Distribuzione, where they held various roles including Technical Expert for secondary substations LV components and Primary Substations Team Leader. In these positions, they provided technical support and coordination for related issues.
In 2011, Antonio became the Head of Distribution, Market and Upstream Gas Risk Management at Enel Distribuzione. Antonio was responsible for defining methodologies and models for industrial risk management, as well as coordinating relevant departments and business units in measuring, assessing, monitoring, and reporting risks.
In 2014, Antonio led the Predictive Maintenance Project at Enel Distribuzione, focusing on applying Big Data and Machine Learning techniques. This trial project aimed to improve maintenance practices on a specific area of the MV Network.
In 2015, Antonio joined E-Distribuzione as the Head of Network Components Standardization. Antonio was responsible for developing technical policies and specifications for distribution network components, as well as managing homologation and certification processes. Antonio also led innovation activities and provided technical support for network component issues.
Antonio's next role at E-Distribuzione was Head of Network Systems and TLC Operation and Maintenance, where they oversaw the operation and maintenance of network systems and telecommunications.
From 2017 to 2020, Antonio served as the Head of Network Technology at E-Distribuzione. Antonio was responsible for innovation and development of various technologies, including smart grids solutions, smart meters, and new technologies such as Industry 4.0 and IoT.
In 2020, Antonio took on the role of Head of Piedmont and Liguria Network Operation at E-Distribuzione, responsible for network operation, maintenance planning, and remote meter management in the Piedmont and Liguria regions.
Their most recent role, starting in 2021, is Head of Abruzzo, Marche, and Molise Network Operation at E-Distribuzione. Antonio is responsible for network operation, remote control, automation, maintenance planning, and remote meter management in these regions.
Antonio Cammarota obtained a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II. Antonio attended the university from 1996 to 2001.
