Cristina Silvestri

Cristina Silvestri has a diverse work experience in various roles within the Enel Group. Cristina is currently the Head of Governance & Portfolio Management Innovation at Enel Grids since September 2021. Prior to that, they were the Head of Field Operation technologies and innovation at E-Distribuzione starting from April 2019.

From 2017 to 2019, Cristina worked as a Senior Project Manager within the Smart Meter Solutions Area of Global Network Technologies Unit at Enel. Their responsibilities included defining HW/SW requirements, selecting promising meter technologies, managing product portfolio, developing and industrializing metering solutions, managing manufacturing processes, and overseeing contract execution. Cristina also served as a Project Manager for the Smart Metering Pilot Project in Bogotá, Colombia.

Cristina's earlier experiences include working as a Program Manager at Enel Open Fiber, where they coordinated network construction planning and materials/logistics management. Cristina also worked as a Network Technologies Developer at Enel Distribuzione, focusing on the development of electric vehicle recharging infrastructure and participating in European projects.

In 2008, Cristina started their career as an Energy Market Analyst at Enel Produzione.

Cristina Silvestri completed their education at the Università degli Studi di Cassino e del Lazio Meridionale, where they obtained a Laurea Specialistica degree in Ingegneria Elettrica from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they earned a Laurea degree in Ingegneria delle telecomunicazioni from the same university from 2001 to 2005.
