Diego Campacci

Diego Campacci is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Head of Projects Origination and Development for Enel Green Power in South Africa since November 2019, and previously held the position of Head of Project Optimization & Tender Management for the APAC-Africa region. Prior experience includes roles in business development at Enel Green Power and as a Project Engineer at Slovenské elektrárne, overseeing nuclear reactor projects and managing technical coordination and contractor design finalization. Diego's earlier career involved being a Nuclear Installation Designer at Enel Group, focusing on software development and environmental assessments for nuclear facilities, as well as a junior engineer at Eni with responsibilities in petrochemical plant design and subcontractor management. Diego holds a Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria Nucleare from Sapienza Università di Roma.
