Nitin Kumar Thakurta

Nitin Kumar Thakurta is an accomplished procurement leader with extensive experience in the renewable energy and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Head of Procurement at Enel Green Power since June 2018, Nitin oversees procurement activities for wind, solar, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects. Previously, Nitin held the position of General Manager Procurement at Azure Power, where responsibilities included optimizing EPC costs to reduce generation expenses. Nitin's career also includes roles in supply chain management, vendor negotiation, and project coordination at organizations such as ANDRITZ HYDRO Private Limited, Honeywell, Samhogunyoung Co., Ltd., and Blue Star Limited. Nitin holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical from Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University.
