Pablo Nieto Acosta

Pablo Nieto Acosta has extensive engineering experience, particularly in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as Senior Project Engineer and Pego Engineering Leader at Enel Green Power, Pablo leads engineering coordination for the Pego Hybrid Plant in Portugal, which includes significant solar PV, wind energy, and battery energy storage components. Previous roles include Head of Engineering for Northwest Spain and Portugal, overseeing a substantial 9 GW project pipeline, and global gas turbine technical leadership at Enel and Endesa. With a robust background in maintenance management at Endesa and experience in various engineering roles since 1994, Pablo holds degrees in Industrial Engineering and Computer Science Engineering, complemented by international studies at The University of Edinburgh.
