Giordano Alvari

Giordano Alvari is a Data Scientist at Enel Group, specializing in the Predictive Machine Learning group since September 2020. Key responsibilities include designing and developing production-ready machine learning models, leading technical development in churn and claim predictions, scenario-based churn volume forecasting, customer segmentation, and cross-selling for electrification. Prior to Enel Group, Giordano worked as a Computational Biologist at DKFZ German Cancer Research Center, focusing on single cell eQTL mapping. Experience also includes a Graduate Student Internship at CIBIO, where Giordano employed integrative approaches to study cancer differences and conducted various analytical procedures, as well as an Undergraduate Student Researcher role at CIBIO investigating synthetic non-coding RNAs in zebrafish models. Giordano holds a Laurea magistrale LM in Quantitative and Computational Biology and a Laurea triennale in Scienze e tecnologie biomelocolari from Università di Trento.
