Laura Russo

Laura Russo is a highly experienced professional currently serving as the Global Governance Team Leader for Metering, Billing and Credit Markets at Enel Group since September 2021, where responsibilities include developing governance frameworks for over 150 platforms across Europe and Latin America. Previous roles at Enel included Project Manager and Solution Architect, with a focus on technical documentation and IT solutions in the metering and billing domain. Prior to Enel, Laura held positions at SumUp as Product Manager for hardware and Business Intelligence Analyst, and at Smoobu as Business Development Manager for the Italian market. Laura's academic background includes a PhD in Civil Systems Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II, with research centered on urban energy consumption and climate change. Additionally, an internship at UN Environment involved research and analysis for the Green Economy Progress Index. Laura holds a Master of Science in Building Engineering from the same university and has further education from UCLA and an English course in New York.
