Simona Caruso

Simona Caruso has over 24 years of experience in the information and communications technology sector, currently serving as the Head of Software and Platforms Global Procurement at Enel since August 1999. Previous roles at Enel include Head of Strategy, Sourcing and Vendor Management for Global ICT, focusing on ICT strategy, processes, agile transformation, sustainability, compliance, and global applications map rationalization. Simona has also held various leadership positions such as Head of Business Relationship Management and IT Demand Manager, alongside significant roles at TIM from July 1994 to July 1999, where responsibilities included team leadership in value-added services and project management for network engineering. Simona holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma and a Master's in Telecommunications from CEFRIEL, along with additional education from IESE Business School.
