Daniel Souza has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Daniel began their career as a Field Producer at KUTV in 2005 before transitioning to a Syndicated Columnist at Lee Enterprises. In their role as a columnist, they published over 500 articles per week and developed strong relationships with local businesses.

In 2007, Daniel joined Direct Impact as a Public Relations Specialist, where they spearheaded the national launch of several automobile models, achieving significant regional exposure and expanding social media impressions.

Daniel then joined Brigham Young University (BYU) in 2007 and held various positions, including Admissions Recruiter, Internal Communications Manager, and Adjunct Faculty Instructor. As an Admissions Recruiter, they exceeded recruitment targets by introducing the first-ever interactive online presentation. As Internal Communications Manager, they actively produced branded content, established strategic partnerships, and implemented cost-saving initiatives.

In 2014, Daniel joined BYU Broadcasting as a TV Station Manager, overseeing daily operations and content creation for BYUtv International. Most recently, Daniel joined EnerBank USA in 2021 as a Customer Communications Manager.

Throughout their career, Daniel has demonstrated expertise in media and communications consulting, multimedia marketing, and business development.

Daniel Souza has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism, which they obtained from Brigham Young University from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2003, they completed their Associates of Arts degree in General Studies at Utah Valley University. Their education history also includes obtaining an Associates degree in Computer Science from Grupo Educacional Opet from 1994 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, Daniel has obtained several certifications, including Accounting Analytics, People Analytics, Operations Analytics, and Customer Analytics, from various institutions such as Coursera Course Certificates and Coursera Verified Certificates.
