Jacob Funke

Jacob Funke currently serves as the Product Owner for AI & Digital Innovation at enercity, having started in August 2025. Previously, Jacob held the position of Produktmanager at RND - RedaktionsNetzwerk Deutschland from April 2023 to August 2025. Between April 2018 and March 2023, Jacob was the founder and managing director of QuizCo, a high-tech startup focused on developing artificial intelligence for various markets, specifically known for the QuizCo Content-Processor that analyzes text-based content for educational purposes. Jacob's earlier experience includes a role in online marketing at ONMA Online Marketing GmbH and a tutoring position at Hochschule Emden/Leer. Furthermore, Jacob worked as a media technician at Amptown System Company GmbH from August 2013 to June 2017. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Medientechnik from the University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer, completed in 2019.
