Fernando Diaz

Fernando Diaz is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems. Currently serving as a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer at Enercon Services, Inc., since May 2023, Fernando has previously held significant roles such as Systems Controls Engineer III at Mitsubishi Power Americas, where responsibilities included developing control system modifications and enhancing system performance. As an Instrumentation and Control Supervisor at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, oversight of troubleshooting and maintenance of electronic systems was key. Additional experience includes supervisory positions in electrical mechanics and installation of smart control systems at South Florida Regional Transportation Authority and Thunder Electrical Contractors Inc., respectively. Fernando holds a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications and Electronics from Universidad de Oriente in Cuba, along with specialized education in Optoelectronic and Laser Biomedical Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica de La Habana.
