Karen Altekruse

Karen Altekruse has over 30 years of experience in the IT industry. Karen began their career in 1989 as a Consultant/Senior Consultant/Project Leader at Collier-Jackson, Inc. In 1996, they moved to Geac as a Newspaper Systems Manager. In 1997, they became Self Employed, providing IT consulting services such as project management, business analysis, requirements gathering, usability testing, and technical writing. In 2012, they joined Enerex as the Director of Product Management, where they created a successful Product Management department. Karen also served as the Director of Customer Success, managing a global team of Customer Success Managers and providing customer support for SaaS software developed for energy brokers and suppliers. Karen also worked as a Customer Success Manager/Business Analyst/Sales Support, onboarding enterprise-level customers and performing data migrations.

Karen Altekruse attended Wahlert High School, graduating with a High School degree. Karen then attended Loras College, studying Management Information Systems, General. Karen obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2002.
