Leonard Amaya

Leonard Amaya, CPA, is an experienced professional in the field of internal audit and risk management, currently serving as Vice President of Internal Audit, SOX, and Enterprise Risk Management at Enerflex Ltd. since August 2025. Prior to this role, Amaya was the Chief Audit Executive and Vice President of Internal Audit at Nine Energy Service from September 2019 to August 2025, and served in similar senior audit leadership positions at Academy Sports + Outdoors and KBR, Inc. Additionally, Amaya has held key audit roles at Broadview Security, Brink’s Inc, and KPMG, starting with a foundation in operations accounting at Footaction in the late 1990s. Amaya holds a BBA in Accounting from St. Mary's University and further education from the University of Michigan.
