Janet Swaysland has been working in the field of culture and engagement strategy since 2011. Janet began their career at Human 1.0 as a Project Lead in 2011, followed by a role as Research Working Group Program Director at The Conference Board in 2012. In 2013, they joined Iron Mountain as Vice President, Employee Insights & Engagement, and then moved to Weber Shandwick in 2015 as Executive Vice President, Employee Engagement & Change Management. In 2018, they took on a role as Workplace Culture Assessment Consultant at Energage, and in 2019 they joined Velocity Advisory Group as Senior Advisor, Executive Coach and Design Museum Everywhere as Workplace Innovation Think Tank & Speaker. Most recently, in 2020, they began working as a Workplace Culture Consultant at Bridging Distance.

Janet Swaysland obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Wake Forest University.
