Roy Shalev

Roy Shalev began their work experience in 1998 as a Combatant and stinger team commander in the Israel Defense Forces. Roy then transitioned to the private sector, working at Nesher Israel Cement Enterprises LTD. as a Chief Information Security Officer and Infrastructure Manager, where they achieved zero information security incidents. Roy also established the Information Security Department and implemented security measures. Roy later moved to One Security il, where they served as the Head of OT Cybersecurity Consulting Division and CISO for multiple companies. Roy also worked at MatrixOT as the Director of Cybersecurity, overseeing consulting, integrations, and serving as the CISO for Energean. In 2023, Roy joined Energean as the Chief Information Security Officer.

Roy Shalev completed a CISO program in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in 2017. Roy also obtained a CISM certification from Isaca in Information and Cyber Security in 2017. In 2018, they earned a DRP Specialist degree in Disaster Business Recovery Specialist from DRI International. In 2023, they pursued ICS Scada Cybersecurity at Infosec Institute. Additionally, they hold a Scada Security certification from Sans Institute.
