Thomas Quigley has an extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry, starting in 1982 with BP where they held various technical, operational, project, and commercial roles at senior management level until 2005. Thomas then moved on to TNK BP as the Vice President of Yamal Oil and Gas Projects from 2005 to 2012. Following this, they worked at Rosneft as a Project Director from 2012 to 2013, then at OMV as Managing Director from 2014 to 2016. Currently, they are serving as the Chief Operating Officer at MOL Group E&P from 2016 to 2023 and will continue in the same role at Energean from 2023 onwards.
Thomas Quigley completed their BSc in Physics at the University of Leicester from 1976 to 1979. Later, they pursued a D Phil in Theoretical Physics at the University of Oxford from 1979 to 1982. Finally, in 1998-1999, they earned a Master of Science in Management from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
