Energetics
Amanda Bassett is currently a Program Analyst Associate at Energetics, contributing to the Climate and Resilience Group since July 2022. In this role, Amanda focuses on climate adaptation, electric vehicle transition, and critical infrastructure protection, by developing community engagement strategies and leading outreach efforts. Prior experience includes serving as an Intern Analyst at Energetics and as a Staff Member at The Old Town Shop from June 2019 to July 2022. Additionally, Amanda held leadership roles at Penn State THON™, including Supply Logistics Inventory Liaison Captain and Operations Committee Member - Sustainability Ambassador. A graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Earth Science and Policy, Amanda is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy and Sustainability Systems at the same institution, expected to complete in May 2026. Amanda also gained experience as a Planning Intern at Fairfax County Park Authority in 2021.
