Dean Comber

Dean Comber has extensive experience in marketing communications and sustainability within the energy sector. Dean began a career at Ergon Energy as Marketing Communications Manager and later served as Manager Inverter Systems from November 2001 to August 2005. From August 2005 to October 2011, Dean held the position of Manager Sustainability at Ergon Energy, focusing on applied sustainability and the integration of solar PV systems and battery technology into the network. Currently, Dean serves as Principal Adviser Strategy & Innovation at Ergon Energy Network and Energex, with emphasis on electric vehicles, distributed energy resources, and innovation since July 2019. Prior to these roles, Dean worked as a Marketing Officer at Brisbane Institute of TAFE in 2001.
