Jaap de Jong

Jaap de Jong is an experienced executive with a strong background in leadership and finance, currently serving as CEO of Energiewacht since January 2021, where the organization focuses on creating a multi-services enterprise aimed at sustainability in Northeast Netherlands. Prior roles include General Director at Energiewacht Groep, Director of Market Development and M&A at Essent, and Managing Director as well as Finance Director at Powerhouse. Jaap de Jong also contributed to Pon Holdings as an initiator and builder of Pon Powerhouse and served as Manager Corporate Finance at Ernst & Young. Educational credentials include an RC degree from University of Groningen, an RA degree in Accountancy, and a Master's degree in Business Administration.
