Lars Wedege

Lars Wedege has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Lars is currently working at Energinet, where they hold the positions of Director Data & Asset Economies and Director Asset Optimization. Prior to this, Lars worked at Skanderborg Festivalklub as a Crowd Access Manager, where they integrated three groups of guards into one and focused on improving safety, quality, and efficiency. Lars also co-owned YouMeUs Aps, a user-driven media company for events. Lars has held various managerial positions at Eltwin A/S, Scanenergi A/S, Teknologisk Institut, and Brüel Acoustics Aps. Lars served as the CEO of Cekan/CDT and worked as an Executive Assistant and Engineer at Cekan A/S. Lars began their career as an Engineer at ENKOTEC A/S.

Lars Wedege obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Electronic Engineering from Aalborg University between 1983 and 1988. Lars also pursued an Executive MBA program at SIMI from 2006 to 2008. Currently, Lars is attending Aalborg University to specialize in IT leadership as a part of the IT Forandringsagenten - faggruppe program, which started in 2022 and is expected to end in 2023.
