Warwick Shanks Oam

Warwick Shanks OAM is a distinguished partner at KPMG Australia, serving since January 1991 and holding various positions including Managing Partner of the Wollongong office. In addition to a thriving career in enterprise audit and advisory, Warwick is the Deputy Chancellor and a Council Member at the University of Wollongong. Currently, Warwick is the Chairman of the Merrigong Theatre Company and has previously served as a Director for So They Can and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. With prior roles including Deputy Chair and Board Member for RDA Illawarra and Chairman of the Commerce Faculty Advisory Board at the University of Wollongong, Warwick has a strong commitment to community engagement and governance. Warwick holds a Bachelor of Economics in Accounting from the University of Sydney and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, along with certification as a Certified Internal Auditor.
