Chris Apanius

Chris Apanius is a seasoned professional in technology management with extensive experience in the coatings and materials sectors. Currently serving as Technology Manager Battery R&D at Energizer Holdings since 2021, Chris previously held pivotal roles at PPG Industries, where development of thermally conductive powder coatings for electric vehicle battery packs was achieved. At Brewer Science, Chris managed applications and development for leading microelectronics manufacturers. Earlier roles include product technology responsibilities at Sherwin-Williams and application development management at Promerus, where Chris led research initiatives that resulted in significant commercial successes, including a product generating $20 million in revenue. Career beginnings include positions at Goodrich Advanced MicroMachines, known for optical micro switch device innovations, and ATC Lighting and Plastics. Chris holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Physics from Case Western Reserve University and The University of Akron, respectively.
