Justin Hovland is an experienced energy engineer with a robust background in mechanical engineering and energy efficiency. Currently employed at Energy 350, Inc. since April 2016, Justin conducts custom energy efficiency studies for commercial and industrial facilities. Prior to this role, Justin served as a project engineer at Lockheed Martin, where management of custom projects for the Energy Trust of Oregon Multifamily program was a key responsibility. At Hodaie Engineering Inc., Justin performed energy audits for large commercial buildings, and earlier experience includes developing 3-D system models at Oregon Iron Works, conducting wave energy research at Oregon State University, and internships at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Dalian University of Technology. Justin holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wyoming.
