Donald McLean

Energy Analyst (contract) at Energy Advantage

Donald McLean has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Donald began their career at Schlumberger as a Wellsite Field Engineer, working in various field offices across Alberta, Newfoundland, the Middle East, Europe, and the North Sea. After leaving Schlumberger, they joined ECNG Inc. where they held various roles primarily focused on operations. Donald was involved with ECNG Inc. from shortly after its startup in 1990 until 1998. In 2006, they joined Energy Advantage as the Vice President of Demand Response. In 2008, they moved on to become the Director of Reporting and Analysis at Energy Advantage, a position they currently hold.

Donald McLean pursued their education at Carleton University from 1973 to 1977, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering. After completing their undergraduate studies, they continued to expand their knowledge and enrolled at the Schulich School of Business - York University from 1986 to 1989. During this period, they earned a Master of Business Administration degree, specializing in Finance.
