Michalis Frangou

Michalis Frangou is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in the energy and petrochemical sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Energy Aspects since June 2023, Michalis has spearheaded the development of interactive analytics applications for Oil & Gas. Prior to this role, Michalis worked as a Data Analyst at ICIS, where responsibilities included analyzing petrochemical industry data and developing custom models for production estimation. Experience also includes freelance work as a Process Engineer at InoMob LTD, where Michalis led the design of a Biogas Upgrading Unit, and as a Digital Applications Engineer at Siemens, managing a team in designing a soft sensing system for Oil & Gas production. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Delft University of Technology and a Diploma in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
