Sultan al Mamari

Sultan Al Mamari is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Energy Development Oman since March 2022, Sultan has held strategic roles including Strategy Lead for the Rawabet Program at Oman Investment Authority from November 2020 to March 2022 and Vice President of Upstream Finance at OQ from June 2019 to March 2022. Previous positions include Senior Manager of Corporate Planning & Evaluation at Oman Oil Company Exploration & Production LLC and various roles at Oxy and Occidental Petroleum Corporation, culminating in a position as Senior Reservoir Engineer. Sultan began a career in the industry at Petroleum Development Oman as a Reservoir Engineer after earning a B.Sc. in Petroleum & Natural Gas Engineering from Sultan Qaboos University.
