Jessica Wherty

Jessica Wherty, CPA, currently serves as a Senior Accountant at EDP since July 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Senior at Deloitte, focusing on audits for private companies in the investment management sector from September 2021 to July 2023, and holding positions as a Senior Audit Assistant and Audit Assistant at BeachFleischman PC from January 2020 to July 2021, where tax return preparation was a key responsibility. Jessica also participated in Deloitte's Virtual Internship as an Audit Intern in July 2020 and completed an Audit and Advisory Internship at KPMG in the summer of 2019, contributing to IT control documentation and intern philanthropy events. Leadership roles include serving as Chief Finance Officer for the Kappa Alpha Theta Beta Delta Chapter and as Assistant Finance Officer, overseeing a budget for 285 members. Earlier experience includes an Accounting Internship at Carvana during the summer of 2018, primarily in Accounts Payable. Jessica holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting & Data Analytics from Arizona State University (2020-2021) and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona (2016-2020).
