Md Ashraf Hossain is a Research Engineer II in the Energy Systems Development Group at the Energy & Environmental Research Center. With a Ph.D. in Nanotechnology, Md Ashraf has conducted research on fabricating CsPbBr3-based perovskite solar cells using nanomaterials, as well as extracting Rare-Earth Elements from lignite and produced water brine. Md Ashraf's expertise includes improving energy performance using nanomaterials in various applications such as super capacitors and energy harvesting. Throughout their career, Md Ashraf has worked on projects at various research institutions and universities, contributing valuable insights to the field of nanotechnology and renewable energy.
