Jim Thompson

Jim Thompson is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in business systems and software development. Currently serving as Senior Director of IT Business Systems at Energy Exemplar since April 2022, Jim has previously held significant roles at Aclara, including Director of Web Applications and Enterprise Database Management, as well as Web Application Manager. Other notable positions include Director of Business Application Delivery at Envision, LLC, and Manager at Compuware, where Jim led project teams and managed software development initiatives. With a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia, Jim has a strong foundation in technology, having developed expertise in managing customer relationships, software projects, and custom software solutions throughout a career that spans over three decades.
