Lauren Budde

Lauren Budde has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. With a start year of 2022, their current position is as an Internal Audit Manager at Energy Fuels Inc, where they oversee annual business process and IT SOX compliance audits for the company. Prior to this, they worked at Olin, starting in 2014, where they held multiple roles including Supervisor-Internal Audit, Senior Internal Auditor, and Internal Auditor. Their responsibilities at Olin included leading large financial, operational, and SOX audits, mentoring team members, and assisting with special projects. Lauren also gained experience at Ernst & Young, where they worked as an Assurance Staff from 2013 to 2014, and as an Assurance Intern in 2012. Before entering the corporate world, Lauren worked at Washington University in St. Louis, serving as a Recruiting Assistant from 2010 to 2012 and as a Building Supervisor from 2009 to 2012. As a Recruiting Assistant, they supported various coaches by managing databases and sending out information to prospective students. As a Building Supervisor, they were responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the athletic complex on campus.

Lauren Budde completed their education at Washington University in St. Louis. In 2012, they obtained a Master of Accountancy (MACC) degree with a focus on Accounting. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2012, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree, majoring in Accounting and Finance at the same university. Additionally, Lauren has obtained several certifications related to their field. In December 2013, they became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) through the Missouri State Board of Accountancy. Following that, in September 2015, they achieved the designation of Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. Their expertise in Risk Management Assurance was recognized in September 2021 when they acquired a Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), also from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. Finally, in January 2021, they further reinforced their skills as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) by obtaining the certification from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc.
