Andrew Jacques has a diverse work experience primarily in the energy industry and the United States Navy. Andrew started their career in 2008 as a Reactor Electrical #2 Plant Primary Work Center Supervisor in the USS Nimitz (CVN-68). From 2010 to 2012, they served as a Load Dispatcher in the same organization. In 2012, Jacques joined the United States Navy's Kesselring Site as an Electrical Section Leading Petty Officer, where they were responsible for operational and personnel management of the MARF Nuclear Power Plant. Andrew also played a crucial role in the training and validation of prospective nuclear operators. In 2015, they joined First Energy and Energy Harbor, taking on the roles of Senior Nuclear Operations Instructor and Beaver Valley Power Station Unit 2 Lead Licensing Instructor, respectively. Jacques' work experience showcases their expertise in nuclear power and their leadership skills in managing complex systems.
Andrew Jacques attended Excelsior University from 2013 to 2014, where they pursued a degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology. Andrew'sfield of study focused on Nuclear Engineering Technology/Technician.
