Steven Martin

Steven Martin is an experienced operations instructor with a career spanning several prominent companies within the energy sector. Currently serving as an Operations Instructor at GTTSi for the Davis Besse current ILT class since August 2024, Martin previously held roles at Energy Harbor as a Senior Operations Staff Instructor since February 2020, and retired from Home in August 2024. Martin's extensive experience at FirstEnergy includes serving as an SRO Certified Instructor with responsibilities for both classroom and simulator training, and overseeing Initial License activities at Davis Besse. Prior positions include Operations Initial Training Superintendent at Entergy and an adjunct instructor at Lake Michigan College, where contributions were made towards developing a Power Plant Energy curriculum. Martin earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from The University of Findlay and has a background in pre-medical studies from Northern Michigan University.
