Michael McCown

Michael McCown, CPL, currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and President at Energy Hire, positions held since April 2023. Prior to this role, Michael was the Director of Commercial Development at Black Stone Minerals, L.P. from January 2022 to January 2023 and Vice President of Business Development at Stockyards Energy Land Services LLC between February 2021 and January 2022. Michael's experience includes significant roles at Parsley Energy, where responsibilities spanned from Staff Landman focusing on business development to Area Landman in the Permian Basin. Additional experience includes working as a Landman at EnerVest Operating, LLC and as an Independent Landman prior to that. Michael obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Texas at Austin in 2007.
