Bret Kugelmass is a seasoned entrepreneur and expert in clean energy solutions, currently serving as the CEO and Founder of Last Energy since January 2020, where efforts are focused on developing small modular nuclear power projects to enhance global energy sustainability. As Managing Director at Energy Impact Center since October 2017, Bret provides insights into net negative carbon initiatives and advises multiple countries on clean energy transitions. Prior experience includes founding Airphrame, leading innovative projects at Panasonic's Innovation Lab, and contributing to advanced technologies at Nanosolar, UC Berkeley, and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Bret holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Stony Brook University.
