Dave Petersen, M.E.E., E.M., C.E.A.

Dave Petersen, M.E.E., E.M., C.E.A. has over 40 years of experience in the engineering and sales industries. From 2006 to present, they have been the Managing Director of Major Projects and Generator Sales for Energy Management Corporation (EMC). In this role, they have been responsible for marketing, designing, and selling major projects to customers in relation to their mechanical and electrical needs. Dave has also been the Division Manager of the Major Projects & Engineering Services Group, Generac Product Manager, and Senior Account Manager.

Prior to EMC, Dave worked as a Senior Account Manager at Haldeman, Inc. from 1983 to 2006. In this role, they managed several territories and called on large industrial customers and large commercial HVAC contractors, helping with and designing plus selling commercial and industrial HVAC products.

From 1979 to 1983, Dave was the Vice President of Sales at Pacific Mechanical. In this role, they were responsible for a small sales group and the design and sales of medium and low temperature refrigeration and HVAC applications.

Dave Petersen, M.E.E., E.M., C.E.A. has an extensive education history. Dave attended Utah State University from 1969 to 1971, studying Business/Managerial Economics. Dave completed the Special Forces Operations Course at the JFK Special Warfare Center - Institute for Military Assistance in 1974. Dave then attended Orange Coast College from 1981 to 1984, studying Mechanical Energy Engineering and Energy Auditing. Dave also completed a Non Degree Master Science Finance program in conjunction with the CBOE at the University of Chicago. Additionally, Dave Petersen holds a number of certifications, including the Generac Million Dollar Club (multiple times), Senior Business and Survey Analyst, Energy Auditor Certificate, Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver, Airborne Course, Eagle Scout, and 150 Gross Ton Master License U.S Merchant Marine Officer.
