Nik Barnard, MBA

Nik Barnard, MBA has over 15 years of experience in Human Resources and Business Management. In 2021, they began working as the Human Resources Manager for Energy Management Corporation. Prior to this, they were the Director of Human Resources for AutoSource from 2016-2021. In 2015, Nik was a Graduate Student at the Small Business Development Center, consulting passionate entrepreneurs on various aspects of business development. From 2013-2014, they were a Business Management/OBHR student at Brigham Young University and an Intern at USANA Health Sciences, where they worked to improve their intern program. From 2012-2009, Nik was a Branch Manager at Alterra, where they started the branch from the ground up, and at EcoFirst Pest Control. In 2008, they were a Service Manager/Technician at Terminix, where they managed service technicians and worked on extreme problems that faced the branch. Finally, in 2006, Nik was the Branch Manager at Pointe Pest Control, where they ran the day to day operations of the branch. From 1993-2006, they were the Lead Service Technician over Floor coverings at Utah State University, responsible for running a crew that installed and repaired floor coverings.

Nik Barnard, MBA began their educational journey in 2004 at Utah State University, where they studied General, Business, and English. Nik then attended Las Positas College from 2010-2011, where they earned a Not Yet degree in Business Management. In 2012, they attended LDS Business College and studied Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General. Nik then transferred to Brigham Young University and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General in 2015. Finally, they completed their educational career in 2016 at Utah Valley University, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Organizational Leadership.
