Simon Emms

Simon Emms is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the energy and utilities sector. Currently serving as a Board Member for Energy Networks Australia and as the Chief Executive Officer of ElectraNet Pty Ltd since May 2015, Simon has successfully managed large teams and complex projects, including a $0.8 billion capital program. Prior roles include senior management positions within ElectraNet and other companies, where Simon led significant improvements in project delivery, operational performance, and maintenance contracting. With a strong educational background, including an MBA in Strategy from The University of British Columbia and a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Adelaide, Simon possesses robust strategic planning and financial management expertise.
