Dan Warne

Dan Warne is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Manager of Transformers and Reactive Plant at Energy Queensland since December 2017. In this role, Dan is responsible for the operation and maintenance of Transformers and Reactive Plant assets, providing expert guidance on maintenance and replacement decisions while supporting OPEX and REPEX forecasting. Prior to this position, Dan held various roles at Energy Queensland, including A/Principal Engineer Network Performance and Planning Manager Northern, where responsibilities encompassed capital investment planning for high voltage assets. Dan's career began at Ergon Energy, where achievements included managing operations for remote power stations and leading asset management teams. Dan holds a Master of Electrical Power Engineering from the University of Wollongong, along with several other relevant qualifications in management and engineering.
