Fardis Najafifard

Fardis Najafifard, PhD, is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in refrigeration and environmental sustainability. Currently serving as a Refrigeration Application Engineer at Energy Recovery, Inc. since November 2024, Najafifard previously held the position of Head of Engineering at Pascal and Senior Engineer at Hamilton Storage from August 2019 to September 2023. At Hamilton, Najafifard contributed to product commercialization and innovation, successfully supporting ultra-low refrigeration systems. Earlier experience includes serving as Lead Research Engineer at Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration, focusing on the development of environmentally-friendly refrigeration systems, as well as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Corrosion and Multiphase Technology. Najafifard holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Tulsa, as well as a Master's Degree from Amirkabir University of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree from Islamic Azad University Central Tehran Branch.
