Howard Brooks

Howard Brooks serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Energy Resource Center in Colorado since February 2009, focusing on energy conservation improvements and reducing atmospheric carbon through efficient energy use. Previously, Brooks held the position of VP/Chief Operating Officer at Pikes Peak United Way from 2001 to 2009, where leadership in fundraising and community programs contributed to significant growth and record revenue. Earlier experience includes a role as New Customer Acquisition Manager at Deluxe Corporation, where efforts in customer acquisition led to reversing stagnant growth trends. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Southern Illinois University and a Master’s degree in Management from Webster University.
