Oskar von Stryk

Oskar von Stryk has a diverse work experience in the field of robotics and simulation. Oskar co-founded Energy Robotics in 2019 and is currently serving as a co-founder. Prior to this, they were a Professor and Head of the Simulation, Systems Optimization, and Robotics Group at Technische Universität Darmstadt since 2000. From 2010 to 2016, they co-founded Bionic Robotics GmbH. Oskar also worked as a Group Lead at Technische Universität München from 1996 to 2000. Oskar von Stryk has held visiting positions at the University of California, San Diego, and Universidade Estadual de Campinas in 1995. Oskar started their career as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Technische Universität München in 1989, where they worked until 1995.

Oskar von Stryk's education history begins with a Diploma in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich, which they obtained from 1984 to 1989. Oskar then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics, achieving the highest distinction of summa cum laude, from 1990 to 1994, still at the Technical University of Munich. Finally, their academic journey culminated with a Habilitation - Professorial Dissertation in Mathematics at the Technical University of Munich, completed before the year 2003.
