Ben Walters

Ben Walters is a Senior Modelling Consultant at Energy Systems Catapult, where expertise includes managing development teams and creating innovative tools for net zero solutions. With previous roles such as Senior Modelling Analyst and Modelling Analyst, Ben has led significant development projects and engaged with local governments to facilitate low carbon infrastructure transitions by 2050. Early experience as a Data Analyst involved advancing local authority modelling software, utilizing various software suites including SQL Server and ArcGIS. Prior to Energy Systems Catapult, Ben served as an Electricity Billing Specialist at West Mercia Energy, where automation processes for a large electricity portfolio were developed. Ben holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Aberystwyth University.
