Rowanne Fleck

Rowanne Fleck is an experienced user research professional with a strong background in human-computer interaction and education. Currently serving as the User Research Practice Lead at Energy Systems Catapult since September 2019, Rowanne has held positions such as User Research Lead and Senior User Researcher. Prior roles include Lecturer in Human Computer Interaction at The University of Birmingham, coordinating courses and supervising students, and a Researcher/Lecturer at University College London, focusing on interaction design and technology's impact on work-life balance. Additionally, Rowanne has gained valuable insights through roles at Amberlight UX, University of Sussex, and internships at Microsoft Research, where work involved cross-site collaborations and studying technology's influence on reflective practices. Rowanne holds a DPhil in Human Computer Interaction from the University of Sussex and a BSc (Hons) in Artificial Intelligence and Psychology from The University of Edinburgh.
