John Banks P.e.

John Banks, P.E. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the utility and solid waste management sectors. Currently serving as Sr. Business Development Manager at Energy Systems Group since October 2019, John focuses on addressing utility infrastructure challenges while enhancing financial performance. Prior to this role, John managed the Utilities Capital Improvements Program for the City of Venice, Florida, and held various leadership positions, including Department Manager at Jones Edmunds and Associates, Technical Director of Solid Waste Services at Atkins North America, and Associate at Geosyntec Consultants. John also brings a rich background from previous roles at SCS Engineers and CDM, where responsibilities included project management and overseeing solid waste projects. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of South Florida, earned between 1977 and 1982.
