Melissa Benzaia

Melissa Benzaia is a seasoned environmental engineering professional with extensive experience in environmental compliance management within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Energy Transfer since June 2023, Melissa oversees environmental compliance for liquid and gas pipelines and facilities across more than ten states. Prior to this role, Melissa held various positions at Centurion Pipeline LP from October 2018 to August 2023, including Manager of Environmental & Risk and Environmental Advisor, focusing on permitting and compliance programs across multiple states. Earlier experiences include roles at Oxy and CH2M HILL Engineers, where Melissa specialized in air permitting and compliance, as well as engineering consultancy. Melissa Benzaia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
