Preston Ray

Preston Ray is a finance professional with extensive experience in treasury management and financial analysis. Currently serving as Treasury Supervisor at Energy Transfer since November 2020, Preston has held multiple roles within the company, including Senior Treasury Analyst and Treasury Analyst. Previously, Preston worked at Deloitte as a Practicum Student, where collaboration on a project concerning distressed oil & gas companies led to a successful prediction of Chesapeake Energy's Chapter 11 Bankruptcy filing. Early career experience includes internships at Vega Energy, where financial analysis and research were conducted on natural gas production and energy projections, as well as roles at Crisdel Group, Inc. and MD Anderson Cancer Center. Preston holds a Master of Science in Finance and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from The University of Texas at Austin.
