Rhett Metz serves as the Senior Director of Business Development and Chief Counsel for the Northeast at Energy Transfer since October 2015, providing primary legal support for the Northeast US commercial and M&A team while negotiating and drafting agreements for midstream infrastructure and services. Prior experience includes an Associate role at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC (May 2011 - October 2015), focusing on corporate and commercial matters in the energy sector, particularly M&A transactions and project development. Early career positions include Summer Associate at Amphora Consulting and a Summer Clerk for The Hon. John T. Bender at the Pennsylvania Superior Court. Rhett Metz holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, a J.D. from Penn State Dickinson Law, and a B.A. from Penn State University.
